
The High Commissioner-designate of the Republic of Ghana to the Republic of India, His Excellency Professor Kwasi Obiri-Danso, has arrived in New Delhi on Monday, 14th October 2025, to a warm and cordial reception.
At the airport to receive him were officials of the High Commission of Ghana, led by the Head of Chancery, Mr. Louis Kwame Obeng.
Also present at the airport were representatives of the Heads of African Diplomatic Missions led by the Dean, H.E. Ermindo Augusto Ferreira, the High Commissioner of Mozambique to India.

H.E. Yawo Edem Akpemado, Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Togo to India
H.E Mrs. Sylvie -Michele Mpon Tiek Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Cameroon.
In his brief remarks, H.E Prof. Obiri-Danso, expressed a profound gratitude for the warm reception and exceptional courtesies extended to him upon his arrival.
He pledged his commitment to working closely with the group to strengthen the bond of friendship and unity necessary in advancing their collective interests in India.
